From vault pick-up to your door: specialist carriers, tracking, and what to expect when you take physical delivery.
Delivery is a logistics process, not a courier bag
When a client chooses insured delivery, the bars or coins leave allocated storage under documented chain of custody. Specialist carriers collect from the vault, seal the consignment, and move it to the address on file. Tracking is provided. Insurance stays in force until you sign for the package.
Most first-time buyers underestimate the checks. The name on the delivery must match the verified account. High-value consignments may require an adult signature and a secure location. If you are not available, the carrier will not leave bullion on a doorstep.
What you should expect
- A sealed consignment with a packing list
- Insured transit from vault to the delivery address
- Tracking and a scheduled delivery window
- Signature on arrival and a chance to inspect seals
The usual steps
- Request delivery from your allocated holding or a new purchase.
- Confirm the address, recipient, and any access instructions.
- Pay any delivery and insurance charges shown before dispatch.
- Receive tracking and prepare a secure place to accept the parcel.
- Inspect seals, check the packing list, and store the metal safely.
If you cannot accept the delivery in person, keep the metal in the vault. Allocated storage is designed for that.
